Have you heard the expression, “Life is better with a martini in hand?” I agree—especially if it’s a creamy, espresso martini mocktail!
Why an espresso martini mocktail made without alcohol? Well, I’ve come up with three reasons for you to have this mocktail recipe in your drink arsenal:
- As interest in healthy eating and drinking grows, there’s more demand for high-quality, no-proof, non-alcoholic drinks.
- People who don’t imbibe still want to socialize with their friends in a bar environment and enjoy a beverage on par with the craft cocktails.
- When you create mocktails for your guests, you’re letting them know that you want them to feel comfortable no matter if they drink alcohol or not. Mocktails also make the younger set feel like part of the party!
Before I forget, there’s one more reason to serve this mocktail to friends: espresso is one of the ingredients!
The espresso martini mocktail recipe I’m sharing with you today was created by Nat of MindfulMocktail.com. I think you’ll be quite pleased with how easy this drink is to make. You only need three ingredients!
Nat’s recipe was inspired by a Vietnamese espresso martini recipe made with sweetened, condensed milk. Although it doesn’t taste exactly like an espresso martini, the coffee lovers in your life will think this drink is pretty amazing!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cooled/cold, brewed espresso or dark roast coffee
- 1/8 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- Ice cubes
- Garnish—whipped cream, cocoa powder, coffee beans
Steps
- Definitely use freshly pulled shots of espresso if it’s available!
- Place all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake well. If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, a mason jar, or anything with a tight lid will work.
- Pour into a chilled martini glass and serve.
- This recipe serves one. To make drinks for a crowd, multiply the ingredients by the number of people you’d like to serve!
- Nat suggests you can make this drink guest-worthy by garnishing with some whipped cream, dust with a dash of cocoa powder, and top with a coffee bean or two!
